Ocean Angel
I just finished a new painting of a dancing angel. I do have several other sketches started as well. When I spoke to my daughter about this project, she suggested that I try to make the angels ethnically diverse to represent every race. Now, that's a challenge.
I'm still researching this idea, but I did work on this angel. I love her motion. There are some things I struggle with, especially shading.

Watercolor is a tough medium. Great job on your angel. I look at this painting and I want to head right to the ocean and dance in the water. I'm afraid though that it is a bit cold for it though.
Oh, she is adorable! I am so appreciative of the diversity aim of your paintings. I am directing a play in February and I am looking for diverse cast members rather than having everyone look exactly alike.
Brava!
I look forward to getting to know you better this month through Art Every Day Month.
I love the movement, and I think the shading is great, don't be so hard on yourself!!!

Kathryn, Thank you for your comment. Watercolor is the first medium I have learned. Maybe I should try one of the angel pictures in acrylic. That would be a challenge for me. I keep saying I'm going to try.
Julie, I am grateful that my daughter suggested making the angels diverse. It makes so much sense.
