La Tour Eiffel

I just finished this canvas of the Eiffel Tower. This is the first completed collage canvas that I have ever created! It was fun and a little challenging. I wanted to use my own art and drawings in the composition and I can see that there are some adjustments I'll need to make the next time I try this.
I am amazed at how quickly some artists seem to accomplish this style.
This took many hours.
I think it's worth it, though.

Great collage.
Collage is my favourite. So much can be done with it.
Have you been to Paris? Would love to go sometime.

Hi Beverly,
Thank you for your comment. I have not been to Paris...maybe someday. This is for my daughter who loves Paris, Audrey Hepburn, the Eiffel Tower, etc.

Hey Janet,
Thanks for stopping over at my blog earlier!
You did a fine job on your collage! I understand the need to use your own art and drawings...I prefer to myself.

I thought I swing back by. I'm glad that I did. Your banner photo is stunning. The color combination is so vibrant. I love the textures and shapes in it too. La dolce momento.

Beautiful work, Janet!! Collage is so much fun. And you get quicker at it the more you do it, but it's fun to go at whatever pace works best for you!
