Spooky

And now the revised version.
My illustration of a Wicked little Witch is nearly finished.
The trunk contents need to be stronger or darker.
This is done in clolored pencil instead of acrylic paint. I wanted to control the details
of my lady's face, fingers and toes :) , so she's not as bright and bold.
I'll be back when I have made things brighter.

Great idea. I think that little witch is trying to keep the contents of that spooky box hidden. What might come out of there has me very spooked!

Would you ever consider using acrylic paint and colouring pencils? I think the background would benefit from a few large brushstrokes, as it's very hard to fill a large area with a little colouring pencil nib.

The revised version is looking very good, I would avoid darkening the features of the moon's face as this is very effective as a lighter element. I love the monster in the truck winking!

Thank you so much for your comments, Ginger and Adam. That creature in the trunk is planning to escape as soon as the witch isn't looking. It even has the cat fooled :)
