My Garden Fairy

Here is the Garden Fairy that I sketched a few weeks ago. Sorry it has taken so long to post her, little problems keep popping up like stumbling blocks. I tried to use instagram with my iPad, and could not upload the picture to my blog. There was no way to transfer the image using iPad. I photographed the image with my camera and cropped it. That seems to be the best way to post pictures that are too big to scan.
The image below is from my sketchbook. I started thinking of some
fun doodles with positive messages.
I think it would be fun to do more of these
to give as gifts or make into note cards.
I'm always getting these grand ideas, and then
moving on.
I'm not sure what that's all about.
I do love to draw and paint.
I am having a lot of fun learning
new skills.
This is the last page in a 60 page sketch book.
I sketch something every day.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Please comment, if you wish.
I love to hear from visitors.

I love your doodles, and your fairy! And I completely relate to the stumbling blocks, like little physical representations of fears that keep popping up for me to see and step over, although all too often I stop and look and cry that I can't get over. Thank you for your words that inspired that realization in me, gives me a chance to look at the blocks that keep appearing in front of me in a new way. <3

Thank you for your kind comment, Kathryn? Those stumbling blocks come along to help divert our path so that we can make new discoveries :)

You are a wonderful artist! I am trying to learn to sketch some in my journal every day. I write in one every day but I'm learning to add art! I love the art you show on your blog!

Found my way to your blog through Inspiration Avenue and enjoyed your work.

I get a very inspirational feeling when I look the picture with butterflies. I think it really shows in your art that you enjoy to do it!

Sorry to hear about technical problems - I know the feeling! I'm still learning how to take good photos of my cards. I think it gets easier the more you do it.
